Overworking games

So close to graduation... The stress is starting to get to me, my dreams are about either success or failure. I never thought sleeping could be this stressful!!


Anyway,

I'm quite ambitious, redoing a couple of projects and finishing others by thursday. It might be a lot but I know I can do this, I HAVE done 15 illustrations in two days. Just need a little confidence and a nice reward at the end of this.

Heres something I've been working on, I'm gonna re-do them but heres the 3D illustration I mentioned before!






First one is my personal favorite as a photograph. Not what the assignment intended But thats where the second one came in. That was my original idea and although I will be re-shooting it I still like how it came out.

Picture was taken with my Nikon F2 35mm camera on Fujifilm 400 speed Color film
The frog and arrowhead were made with armature wire and Sculpey. Painted with acrylic and then high gloss varnish.
Arrow was a dowel that I carved down to give a more home-made feel and the arrowhead was attached with plain cloth string. Simple compound bow was used and my roommate graciously helped me by being the model.

Never worked this way before but I enjoyed it quite a bit. And I got a cool compound longbow out of it!

Thats it for now, now back to the coal mines.

Eventful day

A ninja interview snuck up on me today... But I took on the challenge and came out on top! I think the interview went pretty well. Still got a lot to do for today, though. Gotta attend one of my weekly radio shows on scadradio.org and start working on a 3D illustration. Poison dart frogs will be fun to sculpt! Pictures will be posted!
